Steps for Commencement Registration

To participate in the Fall 2026 Commencement Ceremony, students MUST complete the following steps:

1. Submit your petition to graduate. Students must be a Spring or Summer graduate to participate.
2. Completing the petition doesn’t automatically register you for the ceremony. This allows us to audit your record for eligibility.
3. Review the Information for Graduates
4. This includes ceremony information along with cap/gown ordering.
5. Register for Commencement by Sunday, December 6^th at 5:00 PM.
6. Registration is first come, first serve. Once a timeslot fills up, it will be closed.
7. Pay the $40 non-refundable commencement ceremony fee in your me@ChattTech Student Portal or with a campus Cashier.
8. Locate the Student Accounts card and click on “Pay My Bill”. Select your term in the drop-down box and follow the steps to submit payment.
9. Order your black cap/gown set using the information found in step 2.
10. Invite up to 4 guests to attend your ceremony
11. Guest tickets are not required.

All students that register for Fall Commencement will receive a confirmation email with next steps and payment information.   One week before the ceremony, a final reminder will be sent with additional details and arrival times
