Instruction emphasizes specialized content and skills including ventilation, patient assessment and treatment, cardiopulmonary pathology and pharmacology, and pediatric and neonatal respiratory care.

Graduates of the program are awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree in Respiratory Care and are eligible to pursue the credentialing examinations required to become a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
