Brewing & Fermentation

Learn the fundamentals about brewing and fermentation with coursework in production, operations, safety and sanitation, advanced brewing, brewery software, and associated process technologies. Students will learn about brewing and fermentation in a 3-BBL brew lab on our North Metro campus. Students must be at least 21 years of age to enroll in this program.

Enroll in BFPT 1100 – Introduction to Brewing & Fermentation

Ever wondered what it takes to craft the perfect brew? Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast, an aspiring homebrewer ready to take your skills to the next level, or a student exploring a new interest—this class is your starting point!

Course: BFPT 1100 – Introduction to Brewing & Fermentation
When: Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Where: North Metro Campus, Acworth
Semester: Spring 2026

Open to everyone ages 21 and up — current students and community members interested in learning the craft and science behind great beer and fermented beverages. 

This hands-on course covers brewing fundamentals, fermentation science, and industry best practices—all taught by experienced brewers in our state-of-the-art facilities.
